Showing the photos on there own above, is a great opportunity to see what they are like without the context of the text, and really for them to work they need the text beside them but I have achieved a similar overall colour scheme across the series which keeps them all connected.
Viewing the images like this I can see my strongest in the series and the weaker ones, however the weaker images become stronger with the text. I rounded my photos down to this selection by choosing not only the best images but ones that assisted the story telling.
My favourite image is possibly the first one in the book, because of the tilt on the view it’s as if the character has snapped the photo whilst laying down, or resting.
